The permanent vehicle for Lord Ganesha is ‘Rat’ but for screen Ganesha it is Auto as the vehicle. The film ‘Auto Raaja’ – the title repeated but not the story and contents went on the floors on Wednesday morning.

Udaya Prakash has contacted 100 auto rickshaw drivers for the script of this film. He has taken many incidents to his script. This is a tribute to late Shanker Nag. There will be references to ‘Shankranna’.

Golden star Ganesh was doing mimicry of Shanker Nag in his school and college days. The long wait for this film has really worked out. Ganesh with a horse shape steel locket around the neck says he has reference to it in the film. Horse means speed. That speed is there in the character he pointed.

Bhama from village to city is innocent and with many dreams in her is the lead heroine. Manjunath Nayak is using 5K resolution Kuki lenses for this film – the current rage in the technology field is this camera he says.
